Where is the medical centre located and what are its operating hours?

Our centre is located at 436-438 Burwood road, Belmore, NSW (we are on the corner of Leylands parade and Burwood rd in Belmore). We are a short 4-minute walk from the Belmore train station.

Why have a doctor?

General practitioners provide routine health care and assess and treat many different conditions, referring to the appropriate specialists when necessary. They are trained to identify any disease development or risk factors for developing a disease and from there, they can support you on your way back to health.

How can I make an appointment, or cancel an appointment?

You can make an appointment online using our website or simply call us and one of our friendly receptionists will be able to help you book an appointment.

What happens during my first visit?

A comprehensive medical history is taken (including necessary physical and pathological tests) and an appropriate treatment plan will be started.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your Medicare card, ID and any pension/concession cards.

Additionally, please bring anything related to your health concern – xrays, reports, recent blood test, compensation claim numbers etc.

What do I do if there is an emergency?

In an emergency or life-threatening situation, please call 000 for an ambulance, or visit your nearest hospital.

Are all immunizations, including travel and flu vaccines available?

Yes. We aim to have all vaccines available, however if you are concerned, please check with our team prior to your appointment.

What methods of payment do we accept?

The clinic accepts cash or credit card (all cards accepted).

How do I follow up for my test results?

Patients are required to make follow up appointments for all test results. For confidentiality reasons, no results are given over the phone.

If a follow up appointment has not been made at the time of the consultation, we encourage patients to ring the centre to make an appointment to discuss the results.

When do I need a long consultation?

Long consultations are required for complex medical issues, full medical check-ups, etc.

A long consultation can be requested when making your appointment.

How can I make a complaint or suggestion?

We would like to know if you are unhappy with our service or our staff. Please contact the manager on site, or email your concerns to — so that we can resolve the problem to a satisfactory level.

Can I get my pathology/ blood tests done onsite?

Yes, we have on-site a pathology clinic, so you are welcome to use this facility for all your requirements
